Changing my Money Story
Years ago, I was sitting in Barnes and Noble reading all kinds of spiritual and personal development books. I was looking for answers to why my life wasn’t going the way I wanted.
One of the books that caught my attention was the Dynamic Laws of Prosperity, written by Catherine Ponder. Ponder was a new thought teacher who rose to prominence in the 1960s.
The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity was the catalyst of her rise to fame. I read her books and started applying the lessons. I stopped because I allowed fear to set that her teachings would take me away from my Christian beliefs.
The more I grew, the more I realized that her teachings were my entry point to learning more about spirituality and mindset. I no longer have those hangups.
It wasn’t until recently that I started rereading Ponder’s work. After a session with a spiritual coach I started working with, I felt inspired to seek her work out again. I purchased the Dynamic Laws of Prosperity on Google Books, so I would always have it, but also to honor all the times I read her book for free in those Barnes and Noble days.
In that session with the coach, he spoke about the Law of Attachment; what I received from it was the attachment to my money story.
