Create Abundance Through Investments

Growing up, multiple people taught me the importance of saving money and why wouldn’t they?

Saving money is seen as a hedge against anything that happens.

The dominant influences in my young life were raised in the Great Depression or by Depression-era parents.

But savers were also battered in the depression as many banks closed their doors without refunding deposit money.

As buying power has diminished amidst the highest inflation numbers in 40 years, saving is again under the microscope.

Should you have an emergency fund? Absolutely. Your savings are the best resource for short-term cash.

But long term needs should be funded by investments. And many of you are already doing that.

The definition of an investment is a vehicle designed to increase in value over time. What is the point if the investment doesn’t appreciate?

The cure for poverty is an investment over time, not saving.

If you took 10% of your money and put it in Ethereum last year this time and didn’t touch it, your investment would have increased by 68%. So $10,000 would have given you at minimum $16,800. Not bad.

Let’s talk time poverty.

Most people are trying to save time. If you have time poverty, the same principle applies. There are more demands on our time than ever, but investing is the way out.

Investing one hour a day in creating systems that cut time and effort is an investment that pays dividends and buys your more time.

If you have relationship poverty, investing in your relationships is how you grow more relationships. Many people have the money, job, and lifestyle they want but lack the relationships they desire.

Everything starts with an investment.

Evangelist Mike Murdock more told a story of a father who had a strained relationship with his son.

Murdock told the father to spend 2 hours every day with this son and listen, don’t judge or correct. The father stated that he and his son were best friends within two weeks.

What relationships have you neglected and could improve with an investment?

How many married people are trying to save their marriage instead of investing in it?

If there is anything in your life that you want to grow, start and continue to invest in it and see where you’ll be in a year.
