Create the Picture
You have to create the picture of what you want in life
One of the things I talk about in the Playbook Course is vision. You have to have a vision for your life to accomplish anything worth doing. Visualization is a natural thing that everyone does, just not on purpose.
We can easily visualize harmful or undesirable things; when anyone says you can visualize your dreams, most people scoff at it.
I want to challenge you to visualize on purpose.
In the course, I ask students to pick a goal that is in sight but out of reach. Meaning you can see it, but it seems far away. And then, I ask the student to create a picture of them having it. Much of my life now was first envisioned years ago. I saw myself working from home, living by the beach, and succeeding.
Whatever you want to do, you can create a picture of it. Then, look at it every day. The more you look at a picture, your subconscious mind records it and then works to create its likeness in the real world.
Many people do this by creating a vision board. I did this when manifesting my in-sight but out-of-reach goals.
Coaches and sports psychologists constantly do this with their athletes. They don’t have to be convinced it works. But the average person is skeptical.
What if you took a small goal, say getting a closer parking space, or a reservation at a restaurant, or a seat on the train or bus where it’s usually hard to get a seat?
Creating the picture works if you work it.
