Mental programming creates what we know as a stress response; our genetics, influences, and experiences program us. We can reprogram our minds at any time and should if any part of our early programming stages is undesirable.

If you grew up poor, then you may want to reprogram poverty and lack out of your life because we tend to produce the outward manifestation of our dominant mental programming over and over.

I grew up around a lot of chronic stress; I learned that trait and mixed it in with my personality, and I began making decisions and creating situations that elicited that chronic stress. We are creators by nature.

When the programming of chronic stress is in your mind, you will start creating it. Creating stress can happen in many ways, such as overcommitting or, procrastination, or refusing to make a decision. The problem I encountered was that I was dealing with the effects of stress rather than the root cause. The root cause of stress is programming. I was responding in the way I was because that was the programming that was running. You have to eliminate the negative programming, or it will continue.

How to start changing it
