I Kept Failing

Until I did this…

Whenever I’m struggling in any area, I start finding whatever material I can to get myself out of it. You are probably the same.

I see problems as an invitation to grow (a nod to the late Myles Munroe) and innovate.

We would not do either one if we didn’t have to. Your problems are invitations to get better. When you see it like that, you can find the solutions.

The Mental Equivalent Lectures were such a solution for me many years ago. I was struggling coming out of a divorce, broke, and very unhappy in all areas of my life.

Something had to change.

I began searching and came across the book written over 50 years by a metaphysical teacher named Emmet Fox.

In that short booklet, I learned why I was failing and what I could do to stop the negative momentum I had built in my life.

Fox taught that we live in a mental world. Everything we see is a material representation of a belief. Whether you originated the thought or someone else did, doesn’t matter. If you hold the idea, you get the corresponding effect.

Most people don’t challenge their beliefs and, as a result, fail to grow in any tangible way for most of their lives.
