I Was Complaining About the Work Instead of Doing it

I am starting multiple businesses and working full time. I am also married with one child. And sometimes, it gets overwhelming.

I could stick to my job and work full-time, but it won’t fulfill me.

I’ll be right back in build mode very quickly. I’m a compulsive builder, and I own that.

But I have a confession to make. I would be much further along if I stopped complaining and did the work.

I already proved this when I lost over 80 pounds and have managed to keep it off for a year. I looked for shortcuts and hacks.

But it was a simple adjustment that brought the most results.

Walking every day and intermittent fasting six days a week from 8 PM to Noon took the weight off the next day. I also gave up regular soda and drank more water. (Maybe I’ll put all of this in an ebook)

No, this isn’t some revolutionary weight loss technique.

But the point is, I did the work and got the result.

I could have done that five years prior. But looking back, here are some core reasons I didn’t do it. Maybe some of these will resonate with you.

1. I didn’t have a clear goal — I just wanted to lose weight; I knew I was overweight, and doing nothing…
