It Doesn’t Matter what People Think

It Matters What You Think About Yourself

Going through 18 years of programming, otherwise known as childhood, you can start to overvalue the options of others to the point that it paralyzes you.

Of course, the programming doesn’t stop there. It continues until you leave this earth. You have to decide whether you will program your mind or let someone else do it.

I was watching the NBA playoffs last night, and James Harden, a former league MVP and likely Hall of Famer, led the Philadelphia 76ers (my favorite team) to a surprise playoff win over the Boston Celtics last night, 119–115.

But that isn’t why I wrote this article.

On an ESPN show, the hosts essentially laughed over the notion that Harden could lead his team to victory.

All of Harden’s accomplishments did not matter in their eyes.

But they weren’t the ones playing the game; he was.

And when he stepped onto the court, he had an amazing game. Scoring 45 points, including the game-winner.
