Not Without a Fight

Never slip into a mindset in which you think you won’t have to fight for what you want. It simply doesn’t work that way. It’s not always a fight between you and another person, most times.

You are fighting your lower self. Your lower self is the part of you that is OK with settling with being unhappy in one or more areas of your life.

Has no issues with being mistreated in relationships or by an employer. Or being overweight or in debt.

Your lower self is passive by nature and won’t move beyond what is comfortable.

You aren’t going to have the life you want being comfortable.

Stepping out of your comfort zone is not new thinking, but so many refuse to do it.

Why?

Because they won’t bring their lower self into submission.

Submission doesn’t happen without a fight.

Watch a mixed martial arts match, and you see that one fighter is working on getting the other to submit.

Most of the time, you know what you need to do. You know you can’t continue eating how you’ve been eating or working that dead-end job that stresses you out.

You know you need to quit that job

You know you need to workout
