Re-Coding the Mind for Finances — Step 7 — Take Action

If you’ve been following along this path to re-code the mind, first of all, thank you for reading.

But now you are ready to take action. None of this helps you if you do not take action.

The way to change your financial future is to do a hybrid of inner work and outer work.

The inner work is the mindset and visualization. I think doing a daily audio meditation on finances is helpful and doing what I call faith statements.

I always make and have more money than I need or want at any given time.

I pay all of my bills quickly, in full, and on time.

I am at ease with money.

I know that it is consistently flowing in and out of my bank account, and there is always more money flowing in than out.

Then take 2–3 minutes and visualize having the money you need. Visualize abundance; it’s better than imagining lack.

Then create a plan to stabilize your finances. Remember we talked about the three plans:

  • Income Plan — How are you going to acquire the finances desired and needed
  • Spending Plan — Controlling expenses so that there is enough to save and invest.
  • Investment and Growth Plan — what are you going to inset your money in to grow it

These plans don’t have to be perfect; start them, and you are doing more than 90% of the people on this planet.

Now that you have a strategy, it’s time to execute. The key to any new life strategy is consistency. I’d much rather you do 2–3 things consistently than do everything sporadically.

Execute the strategy for 30 days, and your finances will improve.
