On Day 3 of my series on recoding the mind for improved finances, I talked about the importance of getting rid of the old programs. Those old programs will stop whatever progress you make in changing your mental coding around money.

Once you delete the old program, you have to install a new one. The new program contains the necessary mental software to help create a better relationship with your finances.

The reason why you have to install new programs for money is that nature abhors a vacuum. You or someone else will program your mind one way or the other, and it’s much easier to go back to your old programming.

And we don’t want that.

What new programming will we install?

You will load the thoughts of someone who has a surplus of money. Most truly wealthy people don’t discuss money, nor are they excited about it. Financial stability is a fact of life. It’s not a big deal.

So that is how you are going to program the mind.

Calmly say things like this:

I easily afford anything I want or need
I quickly and easily pay all my bills on time and in full
I have plenty of money left over after I pay my bills
I do work that I love and I’m paid very well for it
I make money through multiple streams of income
I am grateful that money is no longer an issue for my family or me
I am compensated well for what I do
I always make excellent investments
I have a very comfortable lifestyle.
I am easily able to provide for my family the things they want or need

When you install these new programs, the conscious mind will try to kick these ideas out because they don’t match your current reality.

Here is how to override this

  1. Say your new thoughts first thing in the morning before doing anything else — this is the time when your subconscious mind is the most open for suggestion.
  2. Visualize money no longer being a struggle — Visualization is powerful, though it gets a bad rap. Mentally visualize a better financial situation and the subsconsious mind will act on it. You will get ideas, prompts to call people, and other urgings that can lead to more money.
  3. Act as if the money you need will show up and be on time — You have to develop the confidence to create a better financial situation. Millions of people have done it, and you can do it too.
  4. Take Action — I will go more in-depth on Day 6 of this series, but you have to take action to reinforce the new belief
