The Power of the Spoken Word

Too many people need to pay more attention to the power of their words. We can speak things into existence.

We can program our minds using our words.

Before you start the day, a project, or anything you want to do, you want to make sure that you give clear instructions to the subconscious mind.

If I want to write an article, I make the demand on my mind to produce that article by a particular time and specific date. Never doubt your power; you can create the outcome you want.

Once I speak the word for what I want to happen, I ask for the next right action. It’s essential to do this so you don’t waste time being indecisive.

Whatever comes up next is what I would do. The answers come as quickly as you trust. Trust and belief are often the limiting factors.

When you speak what you want to happen, do it clearly and with confidence.

Speak it in the past tense if it is a one-time activity.

Speak it in the present tense if it is a character trait or a feeling.

Example of a one-time activity: “I made my 3:00 appointment with plenty of time to spare.”

Example of a character trait: “I always know what to do and do it right away.”

“I always have excellent time-management”

How would I put this into practice:

  1. Say what you want to happen
  2. Ask for direction or the next right action
  3. Speak in the past tense for something to happen once -
  4. Speak in the present tense for anything you want to happen continually
