When You Hate Your Job but Quitting Isn’t an Option
Hate your job? Here’s what you do….
Quit!
Thanks for reading!
If you’re still reading, it’s likely because quitting isn’t an option you can take advantage of right now, or else you would have done it already.
Don’t you love when people tell you the obvious thing to do?
Instead, let’s go deeper as to why you hate your job and (more importantly) how you can change it.
The why of job dissatisfaction can be wide-ranging, but it boils down to these factors for most people.
1. A dislike of what you’re doing
2. A disinterest in what you’re doing
3. A dislike of the people you work for or with
4. An outgrowth of your current situation
If you hate your job, it’s probably one if not all of those factors. We are happy when we get to do what we like.
It’s that simple.
The financial rewards (one of the biggest reasons people stay at a job they hate) usually follow when we do what we like.
Do what you love, and the money will follow. We’ve all heard that, right?
