Your Mental Thermostat

No matter the weather, you can set your thermostat in your house to make it comfortable. Sometimes it’s too hot, so you have to turn the A/C on, and then there are the times it gets cold., you have to turn the heat up. These are easy rebought to understand. But your mental thermostat is even more critical to your success. If you ignore it, the external conditions can become your inner conditions.

It’s like keeping the heat off in the winter. The house can be as cold if not colder than the outside.

Setting your mental thermostat is as simple as deciding how the day will be. Deciding that you will get a good parking space, get to work on time, and have productive meetings are all examples of setting your mental thermostat.

You can create a thermostat for any area of your life; your business, work, health, and finances can all be controlled with a mental thermostat.

In short, you are defining the conditions of your mind and setting parameters of thought. I’m not hoping it happens, I am telling my mind to make it happen.

We are not our mind; your mind works for you, it has to do what you tell it, or it will do what it wants, and nobody wants that.

When you instruct the mind to think only of the outcomes you want, it starts finding ways to make that happen.
